Plot:

PART I

It was nearly two centuries ago today that the dogs took over the world that the humans used to call their own. Humans became weak and fragile things that even the smallest house cats begin to prey on. The once domestic house pets broke free and became savage with their hunger, letting it turn them into something fierce and unstoppable. Full blooded dogs thinned down and became rare things, sooner than later sides begin to form among the dogs. Four sides were created. There were the good, the light as they were better known, who were really too faint of heart to do anything that they were not provoked to do. They do not like to be the cause of problems, but would do anything to protect their pack and loved ones. Then there where the Neutral dogs, the ones who really didn’t lean to much towards light or dark… though it seemed that most Neutral dogs found themselves leaning more towards the light than the dark. The third group were better known as the Side-landers. They were a lot like the neutral dogs in the manner that they were mostly in the middle, but it seemed that unlike the Neutral these dogs had more of a shadow in their heart. These dogs were more dark than light. Then came the darkest of the dark. They were the ones who really didn’t care who they hurt as long as they got their point across whoever was in their path. The fight ended a hundred years after it began with the beginning of the sides.

After the war ended, the humans begin to repopulate from the couple of thousand that were left. They begin to act just as they used to, expect from one little detail. They no longer treated the animals as pets or loved things, though a few of them still believed that it was possible to have companionship from the dogs. Though it did take some time, after a few decades everything it seemed was back to normal. The question truly was would things return to normal in this town? The dogs seemed to still have tension between them and the sides remained. The only one that disappeared what the side-landers as the merged with the Neutral dogs, becoming one with each other and attempting to live as one. The old leaders had disappeared in the war. Many believing that they had died, but the legend of them still lives on. Ozzie (dark), Nero (neutral), Ayako (side-lander),and Star (light). There was still a small buzz that occasionally went around the dogs anytime someone mention on of the old timer names. As some of the dogs believed… Legends never died. They had heard that the dogs had had pups, and they still feared the return of kids of the pups that had started the war, but some of the welcomed it, dying of the anticipation as if they couldn’t wait for the war to start.
